I have expanded my 32-line panasonic KX-TD 1232 to 64-line with two extension cards. I noticed that the technician who previously programmed the pbx was able to programmed the preprietary side of the jacks of the extension cards(Jacks 17-32) to work as single line. I am wondering if this was done at the manufactory or programmed by the technician. If programmed by the technician, is it possibe to program jacks 1-16 to work as single lines? Can anyone tell me how this is done? Send respone to my email box [email protected].

Actually, post here, read here.
Even in your country, the 25 pair cable can be broken down into 8 3-pair jacks and the 25th pair. Each first pair of the 3-pair set is the Analog portion of the jack. Each second pair is the digital pair, and each 3rd pair is seldom used (it's for Off-Hook Voice Announce on certain Pana Analog PTS).
Make sure you have a display phone on port 1 for programming, then you can actually run BOTH an analog single line set and a digital (72xx,74xx) phone from each port.
