Hello,

Just picked up a new customer that has a KX-TD1232 with a KX-TVS100 voice mail system.

We have purchased the programming software for the KSU, how ever, I am not able to access the KX-TVS100.

I am using the same cable I use to access the KSU, however, I can not get past the Administration Code, or password.

I'm pretty sure I am making a connection and my cables and setting are correct.

How do I retrieve or reset the password?
All I have found is how to Re-Initialize the unit, but it states I will loose any previous setting.

I have tried all 3 attempts.
1) Hyperterminal
2) VTS-Assistant
3) VoiceMail Master

Any Help will be greatly appreciated.

I think I have found it, and thought I should share it.

I kept finding references to Hyperterminal and other ways to get in to the VM system.

So Here is a very "Clean" Step-by-Step way to access a KX-TVS100.
