I'm seeing a problem where the SYS Speed & STA Speed buttons on the 7456 produce a not programed 3-beep when pressed as opposed to showing the A-Z list as the KX-T7235 sets do.
Is there some special programming required to support the 7456 that I am missing?

you should be able to use jog dial function by rolling left or right without touching any buttons on the phones or lifting the handset if it doesn't work the ksu is a -2 or lower

As I said in the subject line, the KSU is a -5 so it has support for the 74XX series phones.
The problem turned out to be that the names/numbers had not been entered as yet. I origionally suspected a problem because the 7235 displays the A-Z directory by default, even though no information has been entered as yet. The 7456 however defaults to an error tone when there are no entries in the list. And it doesn't have the A-Z directory. That is what confused me. Live and learn, as they say.
Thanks for the help/suggestions.
