has anyone else heard that the KX-TDA5191 & 5194 have been discontinued? how is this possibe it renders at least 4 features useless!

I have heard the KXTDA 15/30 Same as your 50 are going to be discontinued, we have a NCP 500 x and ncp 500v which are locked down versions ncp 500, restricted to 12 digital phones and 4 slt. The KX-TDA5191 being discontinued,I think it is a push to get people to buy the NCP.
I must say since the NCP I have put in very few Kxtda 15/30's

I but the ncp with cards and phones ala carte is a lot more lettuce then a 50g 4loop co /caller id /4dhlc included promo kit with 3 phones ! Killing those 2 cards really handcuffs this system:(
