Recently upgraded a site from a TDA600 to TDE600. Customer has several NT265 sets working on the IP-Ext card on the TDA. The new TDE has a DSP64 card installed and can verify the virtual IP-Ext card is active. We can not register the NT265 sets on the new system.
Are they compatible? Have read they need to be version 2.0 but can not locate the software or procedure to upgrade them.

You're right about needing NT-265 version 2.0 or higher for the Virtual IPEXT Card. I don't know the procedure for upgrading the NT265 either. Can you install an IP-EXT16 Card in the TDE? That will work on all versions of the TDE600 as long as the IPEXT is Ver.1.001/1.011 or higher.

We could re-install the IP-Ext card. Would be nice to get it working properly instead of a work around though.

the firmware is not field upgradeable, they need to be sent to Panasonic. If they are out of warranty they charge for the upgrade. Only other choice is to connect to IP-Ext card.
