Is there a difference between the 1st power supply that comes with the PBX, and the 2nd KX-A236 power supply? I am adding the 2nd supply to a system. I have 2 original supplies, but I have a feeling that the 2nd supply has a different voltage output.

Does the first one have a model #?
I think they are the same. Here are the specs to the one that came with the unit:
AC Adaptor AC Input 110 V AC to 240 V AC; 1.35 A; 50 Hz/60 Hz DC Output 40 V; 1.38 A (55.2 W) DC Input • DC IN 1: 40 V; 1.38 A (55.2 W) • DC IN 2: 40 V; 1.38 A (55.2 W)
The description for the KX-A236 states "Additional Power Supply."

From install manual under 2.10.1 "Starting the PBX.?
IMPORTANT Use only the AC adaptor (Panasonic PSLP1434) and AC cord supplied with the PBX, or the Additional AC Adaptor (KX-A236).
