Hi everyone
We had a slight power failure and now tva 50 run light keeps blinking...

I tried to shut it down, then pressing reset button. Nothing helps.

Is there a way to bring it back without losing data?

ta824 is working properly the settings in there are the same, I checked. The wires have not been touched...it is all connected to tva50...

don't understand why this is happening.

is there a sequence to the flashing. that normally means it cant see the extensions set a vm
could be the extensions were reversed on the system. or worse case is the hard drive or flash card is gone faulty

you may have to actually pick up the phone when it rings while you wait for your replacement.

if I shut down the unit and then restart it... the green light seem to start slowing down flashing then picks up the pace again and that's how it stays.

I tried everything I knew, I tried to initialize it. Still the same result.

It is clear i need to send it someplace. The panasonic number changed... they ask for dealer Id I have no idea.

KXTVET - i did not get your message... what phone, who is waiting for replacement?

When the green light stays flashing on a TVA, like OBT said, usually means that the TVA is not seeing the phone system stations.

I know that part. but once the wires are connected flashing stops.

They connected. I tested the the connection of pbx to those leads by connecting system phones to them and disabling APT integration. both jacks 07-08 work fine.

It seems to be some sort of error that needs repair.

I've tried all kinds of ways to reset it... nothing works. keeps flashing. and I cannot access it thru network or USB. USB connection sees it but cann't connect

The first thing they'll ask you in tech support is HAVE YOU DEFAULTED THE VOICE MAIL? It's unfortunate, but I'd try that first before I loaded it up for an NTF return. However, I'd also make sure that I can't get into it via LAN, Serial port, or USB before I defaulted.
