I have just taken on a KX-TDA30 connected to a KX-TVM50 I do not have the password to get into the programming tool. The previous company that supported this system had changed it from default. Is there any way to find out a password without a factory reset as the customer needs some changes done and they do not want it set to factory defaults
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Previous company should be willing to either give it to you or change it and tell you what it is then. EXPECT TO PAY MONEY, but probably cheaper than default and reprogram!

Unless the client burned the previous company, in which case, plan on breaking out your programming tools.

It's a 30? With luck you can get some of the stuff from the end user password, then why not default the box and start over? If you're talking TVA/M, I've heard that Panasonic can get you into the back door. Check with Pana.ca

OK, this is a stretch. Put an add in help wanted for previous employees of defunct company. "Will pay for password info." Hey, it will be easier than default and reprogram.
