Customer is having speaker phone problems. So bad that they have to be 6in from the mic to be heard. Any updates or fixes that you guys can think of? They have no problems using the handsets.

He says it's system wide. He has gotten several complants. As well he sat in on a call that had the problem.

Kx, are there any firmware updates for the DT343?phone. I can't seem to find any on the BTS site. System is already updated to V4.2

If the handset is ok then turning up audio gain could cause other problems. The handsfree is not designed to work as a conference phone, they only work for someone sitting at the desk in front of the phone and if the speaker is turned up full it will reduce the mic gain to stop feedback. I find that people turn up the speaker when they are told they can't be heard and if the other party has any noise in the back ground it keeps the speaker on full and the mic low.
