I have a customer that wanted one of their people to do every prompt on the system. I talked them into doing only the ones heard by people calling in.
The recordings were done not as I asked, but at a higher bit rate in stereo and frequency. I need a converter that works, to convert these files. One thing I noticed is that they seem to be too hot in volume as compared to the canned ones. Now when I listen to them, they sound fine, if I listen at an extension connected to via programming software they sound fine, but when callers call in, SOME of them are extremly distorted. I also found that the originals may be IMA ACPCM, but they ID as MS or Microsoft ACPCM. When I convert, the program that converts them plays them fine, but soundbooth says they are corrupted. Nonethe less, my question is, is there a parameter that changes this, does the new upgrade (3.01) address any issues possibly with this function. My number is 585-247-3724. Thanks.

The only dumb question is the one you don’t ask as that is the question that can make or break you. Brad

How did you make out? For the casual reader, Goldwave (www.goldwave.com) is the program of choice. There's a free version, but I think for about $40 you get a lifetime license.

I was closing down my home Buffalo Wild Wings store. I did such a good job I had to reinstall the internet because they needed it for a "few days more". Geeze, the order was to get anything I needed to go to the new store. I was just about ready to cut out the house cables when they mentioned that.
