Customer has TAW848 with both wired and wireless system phones. They are reporting trouble with outgoing phone calls.....talk path is garbled. However on incoming calls there is not a problem, I am told the conversations are clear. I'm scheduled to go there tomorrow and try and fix the problem, but am stumped as to what to look for. Has anyone had this problem and if so, what was the resolution? Appreciate any input...

Consider the usage of lines, outgoing will use higher numbered lines, while incoming will use lower numbered lines. And are they using more than one source/LEC?

Take a digital volt meter check loop current on all lines!LH may be onto something does the customer have a hokey long distance carrier are outgoing local calls garbled too?Are these pots lines or voip from an IAD ?

Are they a Windstream customer?? I have had 2 complaints around town and they are both on Windstream.
