was call to look at old voice mail system, a tvs75
the hard drive went south. found a old replacement,having trouble initializing unit and trying to log on with hyperterminal. unit powers up but blinking lamp never goes off. any help would be great

is the replacement harddrive from a tvs75?

are you using a null modem adapter in the mix 9600 N 8 & one stop bit no flow control? set to vt 100
light wont go solid until after you have done a quick set up on it or have told it that you are using old school inband signalling!!
