Hello!!

I have a panasonic phone, model kx-tg6421, with headset feature. The phone headset jack is a 2.5 mm, and i have a headphone with two 3.5 mm plugs, one for mic and another for Mic.

I want to connect that headphone but i don't know how could I connect and solder the pins.

Could you help me and tell me what is the pinout of the panasonic phone? with that i could solder the cables to the headphone.

That headset sounds like it is for a PC, google pc headsets to phone adaptors, it will be easier and wont keep breaking or shorting out

yes, headphone is a master choice brand, made for pc use. and i sow in internet an adaptor from dual 3.5 to one 2.5, but i couldn't found it in any electronic store in my neighborhood so i decided to create one from my self, i buy the plugs and the jacks , and tried to pinpoint the correct pins, but i was able of finding only the left & right sound, but not the micro

the phone will not have stereo out, so both left and right will be strapped together.

you will have common and one wire for mic and other for speakers

I have tested one here for a digital panasonic set and the common is the back ring. the speaker is the middle and the mic is the front ring.

Mhh nice tip!, let me try it, because I was wiring a 2.5 mm Plug with 4 segments, instead of 3 you mentioned. let me do it and I'll tell you the results.

Hello. finally i found the solution: those telephones need a 4 segments plug (the one with only 3 makes a shortcircuit) and the ring (segment)usage is the next:
Common ring: unused
Second ring: headphone (Monostereo)
third ring: headphone and Mic (it's a common)
Top ring(4th) mic
