On a base (no extra cards installed) KX-TD1232 KSU(I do not know the software version) the system looks to have 8COs and 16 stations. Were the last 4 station ports setup as analog extensions?

all 16 ports can have a total 16 analog exts
so out of the the box a 1232 is an 8co X 16dpits X 16 XDP or 16 independent analog ext's system.
