My Dad should have been named MURPHY and my mom could have been the mother of invention. Therefore, I have always lead what some call a "Charmed Life",but not in a good way. I seem to get stuck with SO MANY unusual problems and oddball situations that just SHOULDN'T happen, I am wondering if this is just another one?

Is it common for the ICPMPR ID on the paper tag on the face of the MPR card to be different than the one showing on the 1.1-activation key screen?

Our instructions told us to use the tag so It us took several days trying to figure it out. :bang:
As ALWAYS, the harder it is to fix, the better you will remember it!

I have never noticed it, but I always thought it was. Must of had a card changed at some stage. I normally use a screen shot of the icpmpr on the prog tool. And send it to supplier si it's not my mistake if wrong I'd is used

This was all brand new equipment. I take the screen shot on every install too but the Dist. said he didn't need it because when I got my License emailed it would have a CSD tech PDF attached. That Document specifically said to get the number off the tag.

Naturally it didn't work so I called them back for help. Since this was my 1st SIP license I was sure I was just doing something wrong. We began dancing in circles repetitively going through the same activation routine. As I have plenty of time before this upgrade has to turn up, after the 5th time we walked away to regroup. Over the next couple days I kept trying and then decided to try a temp one. After I removed all the other .LIC files from the SD I went back to the Activation screen in preparation to try one more time. Fortunately I have 2 monitors and noticed 1 had 2C00 and the other hex digits were 2D01. I tried each, and the temp LIC would install with the number off the screen but not the one from the tag. Dist. said he had never seen them be different.

Just one more reminder how life treats me special.

The bus driver even gave me a button to show everyone too [Linked Image from sirius-business.com\shortbus.jpg]

Life would be dull if it all worked first time 😄
