A customer of ours has a problem that when a call comes in the phone starts beeping/or chirping, light on the phone start flashing and the call cannot be answered. Any suggestions?

I would say check the wiring,can you make calls

I agree with OBT. Check wiring. Pay attention to the modular plugs that connect your wiring to the phone system. Usually a short in one of those plugs will cause that problem.. Check your line cord. Make sure that it hasn't been smashed flat by a rolling chair.
