Has anyone here ever successfully used a CSV file to import user names and extension numbers into a TDE600? I tried it and get 'value range error'. Also, Pana manuals do not go into ANY detail about how import file needs to formatted.

To amplify what Shawn says, export a CSV file with one or two speed dial numbers you have put in by hand. You'll get a feel for how many characters and the layout.

You will have to use 3 column, first is entry number 0- amount of entry's, column 2 is extension number as dial= ext number and column 3 is extension name

Extract from file

No. Extension Number Extension Name
0 Dial=102 ISDN Modem
1 Dial=21 Office
2 Dial=23 Sitting Room
3 Dial=24 Bedroom
4 Dial=172 Voicemail
5 Dial=30 cordless
6 Dial=22 Kitchen

You will have to make sure the number plan is set in the system to accept numbers as set in file. and make sure it is in order of cards installed.
If you are making up the csv file from scratch, it would be easier to fill in the data on the programming tool
