i would like to trigger a light and speaker when my system rings. how do i get an open/close relay low voltage?

You would have to make a circuit to convert ring voltage to operate a relay

You set up a single line extension to follow the line ring and you can probably figure out how to use a WTB or just about any external ring control box. https://www.sandman.com/pdf/page40.pdf

thanks for the advice. i will get one of those relays. seems easier to do that as an extension than to find the place on the tda50 board where it has a relay?

if you have a DPH4 card it says in card properties
that you can use contacts for ringer
