On our Telrad, we dial 4888 to access voicemail. I want to setup a DID number that when dialed would go straight to the voicemail login. I went into DID routing and setup a number 4888 with day and night routing to 4888. I verified that 4888 is being sent to the PBX as the DNIS digits. When someone calls that number, it shoots them straight to our auto attendant in stead of the voicemail login. Any ideas how I can get it to go straight to the voice mail login?

When you say login are you referring to a certain mail box or what? What exactly are you trying to have it do.If I read your post right with the way you have it set up now you are telling it to go to 4888 which is the VMS hunt group and will be answered by the Auto Attn.

Is it hard to think outside the box a bit? I am trying to integrate two phone systems together and need a way for the second phone system (not telrad) to access the imagine voicemail system login (where you put in the extension, the password and press 1 for new messages). It would be easiest for me to send a call to the telrad as a DID call and have it go straight to the imagine voicemail sign in menu (for lack of a better term). This is what happens when you merge with another company.

What is the ver on the Imagen?
How many tenants are on the Imagen now?
How are the 2 systems networked together?
Do you have APPGen for programming the Imagen?

Imagen versin - 7.04
Number of mailboxes - around 50
Connection method - PRI line between two systems
Appgen - Not quite sure. I have the application that interfaces the voicemail, but beyond that I am uncertain.

I am assuming the system is also a release 7. The APPGen program is the key here. You need it to do applications on the Imagen that are out of the normal operations.

Just thinking about this a little further. Set a speeddail in your 2nd system with 4888 pause # ext number password and 1. Put it on a key on the phone and your done no nned to fix the Telrad its working the way its suppose to.
