I know of a customer that has multiple locations tied together over point to point t1s. They installed the new Emagen voice mail system, but have been having issues with the install since day 1, and want options to replace. I was always of the understanding that you can put a third party voice mail on the system (Captaris, Keyvoice etc), but you will lose the ability to light message waiting lights at the remote sites. I think they are running on version 7 software at the host site.

I don't know why they would want to replace it, the third party won't come close to matching it. Sounds like it was setup wrong. Get with SS, that's right up his alley.
