Hey Guys,

I have a problem with a Synapse phone where the individual has an echo when they talk. I have taken the Kirk Tool and turn the Gain on the Microphone part down to 0 but to no avail. I even put the speaker down to its lowest level. And I still get the ECHO sound. I have switched phones, and even switched the Long/short/Very Long on the phone line on the CHL Card.

Any answers?????

I'm a little confussed. Are you talking about an IP phone or a Digital phhone or and Avanti Phone or a SynopSys phone system. What Version Software and system type (400 128 8/18 or MPD2 or Ipex). I didn't even know you could Change the Volume on the mic.

And on the speaker just the hi/lo key.

On 400 Cabinets you have to change the highway or reset the system. But it wasn't an echo sound for this problem ussally it was like a data noise

OH I've only worked with that one time and it was awhile ago. You using one cordless or multiply cordless phones on one antena. I'm just guessing but I would try changing the phone or the antena. If your using more than one cordless phone try using two antena's But I'm not sure.

Yes,

It is an Ipex system with an onboard COL, but the COL is not being used at this time. There has been a CHL put in the cabinet. Don't ask me Why, that is what the Salesman sold.

I have a customer with the on board col and all the phones fade out.
Best bet is call Tech support Heather had Peter Penque and I conf together making adjustments with the audio settings deep in the programming.
Or other option get the co card off the IPeX and make sure the chip on the CHL is 4.0 or above. As far a the 3040 and MCC I have one in stock but havent installed it yet.
