Hi, We have a 24 channel PRI T1 connected to the PBX. We use DID's. I'm trying to determine the way Caller ID behaves on the incoming calls. Sometimes I can see the number of the caller, and sometimes I see the Name of the DID number from the DID routing screen. I assumed that callers with no ID infromation will appear with the Name of the DID instead, but apparently it happens to callers which display correctly on mobile phone, for example. What gives?

It's all in the way it is sent to your switch. What system and release are you running?

If you have 3025 phones you can see the DID name and the number of the caller. 3020/3015 should be the name of the DID then after answer the number of the caller. I think this is changed in e2e-2. ------------------ ssimpson@oneringtelecom.com Need a Telrad Programmer Kit? Telrad Programmer Kits
