We currently have 2 Telrad 128 systems. One is the primary and the second one is a backup and testing system. With the addition of the VMI system we are now running close to the 98 line limit of the 128 system. Is there anyway to combine 2 128 systems together to get additional lines? We have looked at setting up to seperate systems, but it would be much better to have everyone on one system.

Man are you in luck. The old 128 is 96 stations X 48 lines (max 128 power units).
The new IPeX1 comes as a 32-128 lic card and you add lic as you need to grow.
The IPeX2 is the same. The IPeX3 is due end of summer and will have 32-384 port lic. All have onboard EmaGen Voicemail systems that are 4 to 28 ports and unlimited mailboxes. As for your current systems all of the cards phones will tranfer over. A Unite 19" cabinet replaces the 400 cabinet and the maxed out 3 6 slot cabinets of the 128, and its rack mountable. Your looking to expand so you will need 2 a main cabinet and a expansion. Right now Telrad has a Trade in program for any MPD/ MemCart to go to the new IPeX.
