I have Telrad 128 with 3 cabinet one COL is in the 1st cabinet and I installed 2nd COL in 2nd cabinet for 8 additional lines. When The first line number start from 801 on original MPD and ends to 812 in 1st COL, I started the 2nd COL with 813 but for the last line number does not let me enter 820 but it let me enter line number 800 only.
Is there anyway to make the system to accept 820 for the last line number?

yes check your DN list. You must have somethng programed for 82 to stop you from programing 820 as a dn.

As Tony suggested it can be a DN or if you dont find it in the DN list look at the function access codes.

Thank you for the help

I found 82 under the DN as you told me, now my problem is 82 is being used for one of the companies. Our setup is for 3 companies and I don’t know how to change 82 to higher number without screwing the setup.

82, 83, 84 are being used for 3 companies, 88 for function night, and 89 for function intrusion.

If I change 82 to 85 in GR->AG (groups & trunks) do I need to change any thing else?

I need to tell you that we also have voicemail system. Do I need to change any thing in the voicemail computer?

Here's a crazy idea why not change the DN of the CO from 801 to 8001 and 802 to 8002 820 to 8020 ect. Problem solved.

801 shows 801 not 01 so 8001 will show 8001
