here's the situation, i've got a Telrad Tenecs in a grocery store with a Imagen Auto Attendant. two lines dedicated for the pharmacy ring through the ONS Card to an IVR system. that system is basically an auto attendant specialized taking prescriptions etc. the problem is that callers get to the IVR and then are suddenly placed on Hold, some callers believe they are disconnected. after calling in myself i've found that its the Music from the store and MOH. so before they can be directed to a pharmacist or leave a message they are automatically put on hold. i've looked at the ONS card and the red light is constantly flashing, in use or not. my first question is that normal? my second question is can i replace the card and not worry about the same issues? any help would be appreciated.

1st answer yes its normal in fact if it is not flashing you got trouble. That is the ring generator led. 2nd answer sure you can replace the card but the worry would still be there as it wouldnt fix your problem. Sounds to be like you need to go to site and do some testing. I dont know if you just set this up or if it has been up and running for years but I think there is a programming issue not a card problem. Sounds like the IVR is putting the caller on hold but not transfering it.

Was this a new install or already working. It does sound like the IVR is sending a hook flash and putting the call on HOLD. Might have to change some timers.
