Hello All,

Using a digital keybx - We are currently using a t1 with a block of 100 did numbers. We are moving to a location were we cannot easily get a t1, so I was trying to figure out if its is possibble to use a block of did numbers with pots lines, and if so what cards would be required for purchase.

Thanks,

MJH

Follow up - Can the DID lines also be used to make outgoing calls?

Thanks

I have to say I didn't think there was anywhere a T1 could not be installed. Telrad made DID cards but have been discountued for several years now. So several of us have plenty of these instock.
And no the DID is inbound only.

Just an old phone man just trying to stay busy selling hosted solutions and POTs line replacement devices.

If you can't get a t-1 to your new location, WOW. Hope you can get internet from cable.

Like SSphones said, there DID cards out there but I'm not sure if Telco does that anymore. I haven't done a DID card in ten years.

Thanks everyone for all your help. After clarifying, it wasn't an issue of getting a t1, but rather the install time. To get a T up and running would take about 60 days, and we need to be in the new location in 3 weeks. The regular lines, could be installed within a week.

Thank,

MJH
