The phones in our system (3025) do not have DND buttons programed. Is it possible for a user to turn DND on/off by using a feature code (or any other way)?

so someone changed the DND button above the dial pad to someting else? You could use CFAll feature 35 2 XXX. XXX= another ext or voicemail. If there was a feature code programmed you could use it also. Either way you need to get into the system programming and change the DND button back or find out what the feature code is for DND or if it is programmed.

No a user can't change this. You need to do it though programing as SSPhones said. After you get into programing also check your COS for DND Access to Yes

We're set up to get an external line when we pick up the phone, they didn't want to have to dial 9 to get out. So, if you pick up the phone, you have to hit INTERCOM and then the person's soft button for internal use (or leave the phone on the hook and just press the person's soft button). We also needed a button for our warehouse pager. So, DND got knocked off.

So you need to get a programing kit. You can not change the soft key without the correct programing software.
