Last weekend I moved our Cincinnati Telrad V sb5.05 and ImaGEN v.7.0X(4 I think).

I installed it at a small office we have here in town. All went well until I tried to setup Auto Att. Extensions were 100 thru 120, which I had to change to 110 thru 130. with 16 phones. after a single ring, Auto Att. picks up the call. Gives option to dial ext directly, a series of single digit options, dial 9 for Dial By Name, or press 0 for the operator. The problem is that I cannot dial extensions directly from that message. if I press 112 to get ext.112, the Auto Att. directs me to ext 111, as opt 2 is pointed to 111. It is like the VM is not receiving the "1" digit. If I press 111, I get a message about Entering an index number and pressing #. At first I thought that the Auto Att was just not playing well with the 101 thru 109 ext. so I just changed the extension numbers. Didn't help.d

System has MPD w/ mem cart 5.05, OCD w/ a MIM and a MODEM, 1 ELD and 1 EHD.

Any Ideas?

Could be one of the pitfalls of having a mismatched software level. Jon you worked for a Telrad dealer you know what they always said system and voicemail software should be the same.

Anyway I would look at the trunks, are they same type as before ie T1 and still T1 are they routed the same ie RL or DID?

Jon I will help you with this but this is way beyond the level of support for the board, I will PM you with some options.

Its got to be the way you have the lines set for tenants. And if you changed the programming you may have to make some changes to the APG file

Have rebuilt the apg file from default. all lines are set for tenant 1. only the 1 does not register in the auto att. if I dial 112, auto att. sends the call as if 2 was pressed. all single digit options work fine. I was thinking it might be a dtmf issue?

Has to be the APG file. When you rebuilt did you remove the old APG file and let default.apg take over? Then load a new .apg file?

I named it demoss.apg (and bgk, gdb) I renamed default.apg to defaultapg.old (same with gbk and gdb)

Tried auto att dialing and auto att prefix. Got same results with both.

One thing I have not tried, as a test, is setting the one to single digit, and seeing if pressing one goes to the extension I set for the one in AppGen.

I did not load the default.apg before loading the reprogrammed one. I just renamed default.apg in the C:\ivm\apg folder. I went straight from the dcos.apg to the demoss.apg, without loading the default. Is that an important step? Now that I think about it, I cannot remember ever having to move a voicemail from one company to another, in the past.

Make sure that the demoss.apg is the file the IVM is looking at.

In the main menu of the IVM Appilcation Press 5 and in there you will see the APG file the system is using.
Also see if you break the Auto Attendant MSG by hitting 1 just ONE TIME. This let you know if its a DTMF problem. If the MSG doesn't stop then maybe you do have a DTMF problem. But I never had many DTMF problem on a I.V.M. so I feel it would be rare
