As you can see from the previous post, I thought we were having voicemail issues. After today, I think it may be a DID issue. It seems that intermittently, calls are not being routed through the DID rules, but are just ringing straight thru to the attendant console. This can result in fax calls coming thru to the attendant console. When a call like this comes thru, the display simply shows the t1 channnel for example 851 on the phone display instead of the DID text label in the DID routing. Again it is only intermitent which is part of the problem. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

MJH

Is it possibble it could be the T1 line? Call's coming thru that would have garbled did's would in theory just ring thru to the default/attendant console. Is there any way to view the communication between the T1 and the PBX to determine the info being exchanged when these calls come thru?

Thanks,

MJH

You might have a bad DTMF receiver or could be that the DID isn't in the DID Routing Table. Going to need more info on your system. This is a problem that will need payed tech support to trouble shoot correctly.
