I have a Telrad 400 system and a Imgen voice mail system we are trying to set up. Right now they both work and you can dail in to the VM system, but the VM system does not sense the in coming lines ringing and pick up the unanswered call.

The only way is to use a ringing station phone and option the DND button to direct the calls to the VM system. Then you always have the button pushed to activate the VM system to pick up the outside calls.

I there is option in the Phone system software or VM system to tell the system to pick up a line without having the DND button on?

Follow up: What we want is to use our VM to answer the phones after hours and pick up any calls during the day after 8 rings if no one picks up. We have been working on the software and trying different things to get it to work correctly. What is the best option or feature to use to get it to do this? Forwarding, the DND button will work, but we would like it to be more automatic.

Call forward no answer atleast 1 phone that rings on a outside line for a delay to voicemail. But CFNA is a system timer at default it is 20 sec about 6 rings.
For the night program all lines to ring direct to voicemail hunt group DN set a attendent or answering position put a night button on the phone and when the attnd goes for the day put the system in night mode.
