I currently have a S400 vDB6.15 system with an IVM v4.00J voicemail PC. Is it possible to use Imagen V7.04 with my vDB6.15 system? The IVM messages seem to be skipping at random. This just started over the weekend. Thank you in advance.

The 7.04 software will probably work but I wouldn't do it. I know in a lot of past post people have done it.
You can't upgrade the old 4.00j to 7.04 if that's what your asking. 4.00j is avc and 7.04 is dvc.
I would upgrade to an Ipex card.
To try and fiz your current problem try running defrag on the 4.00j voicemail. That will probably fix your problem.

I have to ask: On your network, if your 15 year old dos base server was acting up would you replace it a 10 year old NT server? I would guess not. Also a FYI DB6 and ImaGen 7 dont play nice together, if you think your having problems now wait until you spend all those hours getting that setup only to post my XXXXXX isnt working on my ImaGen7 voicemail and we ask what software is the system you answer back its DB6 and we answer back the system and voicemail need to be the same software level, you should upgrade to a IPeX. So let me say it as Tony did, I would upgrade to a IPeX.

Here is the Letter we are sending out to all of the customers that have systems that are not E2E-2 or above.
Mr. John Smith Smith Company 123 Main Street Springfield, Michigan 22222
Dear Mr. Smith
Thank you for being a trusted Telrad customer all of these years. We have truly valued your business.
Our records indicate that you have a Telrad telephone system with an Imagen (IVM) voice mail system. Based on advancements in computer technologies we are no longer able to service the Imagen (IVM) voice mail systems and PCs. In addition, Telrad no longer supports the telephone systems with software version 7 and below.
You do know of Telrad's Evergreen Policy: Our Evergreen policy ensures that you can always salvage your investment, and keep most of your equipment when you upgrade. We have numerous customers with up-to-date systems who still use components purchased over a decade ago, such as the series 20 phones. In fact, anyone who has purchased one of our systems since the early 1990’s, has never had to make a significant investment in upgrading it.
Once you install a Telrad Connegy system, you will be able to keep upgrading it, adding modules only to support new technologies or your evolving needs. All your future investment will be directly tied to benefits you want to achieve, and your past investment will continue to grow with you.
Four years ago Telrad developed the IPeX. An integrated MPD and voice mail system on one platform. The Advanced IP software from Telrad allows customers to use all of their existing telephones and most of the current cards.
A One Ring Telecom sales representative will be contacting you to discuss your options. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me anytime.
Sincerely,
When we get to talk with the client we also tell them about the TVSe IP card and the added features and benefits it offers.
