Is it possible to change the time the system allows a released COL line to be picked back up? My system currently holds the line for about 3 or 4 seconds before it releases it for use again. I would like to change that to around 1 or 1.5.

Im running a mpd 128 sw version 7.2

Thanks.

If you lower it to much you wont get a disconnect you will just hook flash and then you will have to wait for the CO to release that. Also you have to remember those 2 extra sec your trying to save may be being used to do other things. Like releasing the highway, resetting the DTMF receiver, closeing the log for SMDR.

So its possible. You may be right, but I feel 4 seconds is excessive. I would like to half that time, if I have problems with the system I have no problem changing the setting back. Is the setting in the system timers, or is it on the col card setup screen itself.

Thanks

Dkeybx is the type system, looking back to the original post you said 7.2 so no Emanager. I looked backed to SB7 PCP and dont find the timer. Good fuel to take to the powers the be and ask for a chip upgrade if that's all you can get. But a Upgrade to a IPeX or MPD2 and eDa3.13 would give you more options.
