I understand that the OCD card is an options card with the usual Modem, DTMF, and MIM options.

What is the DTMF option card used for?
And, what would you connect to the amphenol slot of the OCD?

Thanks for your time.

The DTMF module is used for resources. If you have many single line phones or if you are using T-1 to T-1 networking.

This module is not needed most of the time.

The OCD is used in many ways with a MIM Module. Here are some.
For Voicemail connections.
Normally open or closed relays.
Extra page outputs.
Telrad Door Box.
Modem and DTMF module don't have any conections.
