Hey guys I have a question concerning analog lines. I have an IPEX2(eda 3.12) and I have 3 SLD cards and 1 ONS card. I am running out of analog ports. I have several spare COG cards with a 3.6 version on u10. Can I run this COG card on my IPEX2 system and if so I need to change the card to loop start. Do I accomplish this with jumpers w100 through w800.

Thanks,
kkell11400

The chip version should be upgraded to the latest version. (4.0 is the latest I believe)

A COG card will only give you trunks, not analog EXT off the system. Not sure if you want to add lines to the system or add analog Ext's.

The jumper should be move to the correct setting of what type of service you are getting from Telco. (Loop start or ground start). Plus you must program the card for loop or ground start trunks in the Telrad programming software.

Make sure you keep and eye on the number of system Licenses you have also.
