Does anyone know if the fans in the 76-710-16X0/0 power module for the Unite S128 are supposed to be on all the time, or are they on a thermal switchof some kind? They never seem to be on, even though the power supplies on the module are warm.

The fans are on the top of the power supply card. The power supplies can be removed. The fans should turn on as the system gets hot and off as it cools.
The way I test to see if the thermal switch is working is by turning the system down and then turning it on again. The fans should turn on then off. If they don't come on at all, then the card needs to go out for repair.
