We are running emagen v10.3.14.1
When a voicemail is copied to another person with a comment/annotation the timestamp on the voicemail changes to when the comment/voicemail was transferred/copied.
If however a comment is not recorded the "correct" timstamp for the originating voicemail is kept.
Is there a way for the person receiving the copied/transfered voicemail to determine the originating timestamp for the message if an annotation/comment was recorded with the voicemail transfer?

When a comment is added to the message the envelope info is updated and the message is given a new file name in the copied to mailbox. So no the original time stamp is written over. You could use Unified Message and forward via email then the CID and the original message would be intact. FYI you may want to look into getting the 10.3.15 tgz file and upgrade the software in your EmaGen, there are several fixes for 10.3.14 .
