Hey guys, Right now we have an autoattendant that routes call for us, but we would like to use queues and agents.
I was in the emagen voice mail system and saw in the reporting area that acd reporting was there, but after further research, I need upgrade a cartridge to get this function.
What are my options here. We are a simple operation. I can not tell you for use how many incoming calls we have a day, unless there is a report in the emagen that shows how many calls the auto attendant picks up.
I did find this report in emagen for system stats for yesterday.
Is any of this usable?
Subscribers: 5 Non Subscribers: 122 Outgoing Calls: 101 Total Calls: 127 Incoming Call Duration: 14 min. Outgoing Call Duration: 25 min. Total Duration: 40 min. Average Connection Time: (Total Time/Connected) 0 Min. 32 Sec. Transfers: 100 Connected: 74

I just realized that I do have ACD installed in my emanager. There is nothing set up though.
Regardless, does the above info give an idea of how many calls we get a day?

If you want to use ACD, you need to go to your system terminal and look at available features for your system. ACD seats are licensed, you will need a license to use it. System stats will give you a good idea what your traffic patterns are. If you have an SMDR tab in Emagen, this is even better for tracking calls. This is also a licensed feature.

OK, I see it now in the feature list. Here is my current list. We need about 5 seats. What are IP vocoders? I don't have an SDMR tab in Emagen. Is there any other quick and dirty ways to count calls through the auto attendant? Feature License Hardware Config Active

Go through your reports on Emagen and see what works best for you. The Ports report will give you a good idea of the traffic you are dealing with via the voice mail. Vocoders are needed for IP to non-IP connections. IP to IP don't need vocoders. For example if you make a call from an IP phone via a trunk (analog for example) then a vocoder is in use. PM me or the moderators for the seats.
