Is there a way to have an incoming call to a DID number that is programmed to an employee's extension (employee's extension is set to CALL FWD ALL to an external number) drop the connection to the DID trunk after the call has been connected to the external number so that the DID trunk line does not remain in use? In our setup, the incoming call to the DID number first goes to our Dial-by-Name Directory and then the caller selects the employee's extension that is set on CALL FWD ALL to an external number. Right now, when a call comes into the DID number to the aforementioned employee, both the DID line and 1 of our 5 outgoing lines (see setup details below) are used up.
System Information -Digital Key Bx 818 -Circuit Cards: MPD, OCD, CHL, SHD, ULD, DID -SBM 7.21 -emaGEN (not sure which version) -6 analog phone lines total; 5 in inbound/outbound hunt group; 1 DID line to Dial-By-Name Directory -Call Forwarding is enabled by telco provider and working properly
Thanks in advance!

No. You would have to call forward from the telephone company.
