Hello, recently we took over managing a Telrad Digital 1000 system. A staff member attempted to call 911 and the call would not go through. In looking into it, in order to do so they would have to have dialed 9 (for an outside line) and then 911 to complete the call. I have been tasked with finding a way to allow someone calling 911 to simply call 911, so basically alleviating the need to call 9-911. Can anyone give me any pointers?
I am pretty new to the system, I did locate Least Cost Routing -> Public Networks inside of eManager. 911 is listed in the table under "Special Numbers", with a "Type" of Service. Anything to help me go in the right direction would be appreciated.

I looked into this but no joy. I think you run into access of LCR is with 9 then the LCR programming goes into effect.
What software is the system?

I apologize I am not 100% certain where to find the system version, if you could point me in the right direction.

If you are using eManager, the system terminal window will tell you your software version.
If you dial 911 from a phone, only 11 is going to be sent. This will go out on the default route. Use your modification tables to insert a 9 back in front. Once you do that though, you have to build other routes for dialing normally. You will sacrifice your def route for 911 calls only.
