I have the followign problems with a DK280/424
1) When the person at x206 is on the intercom or co line, using the telephone, (all phones are call forwarded to voice mail on a busy/no answer condition) the internal user who dial x206 receies a slow busy, its like the call neve goes to voice mail. THe display shows that the phone is CF-BN to Voice Mail.
2) Same Toshiba System again (424), customers has a "B" processor and two cabinets. What are the max co and station configurations?
3) Same Toshiba System again (424)ther is a Toshiba Stratagy "Voice Mail card in slot 4 of the first cabinet. It has 8 LED lights on it. How do I find out how many ports it is? and how do I program it?

Any help would be appreciated.

CALL FORWARDING ISSUE: WHAT DOES IT SAY EXACTLY IN THE LCD OF THE FORWARDED PHONE?
(CL/FWD TO ???)
CAPACITY IS DEPENDENT ON TWO THINGS: CPU CAPACITY AND SLOTS. EACH SLOT USUALLY WILL HOLD 8 STATION OR 8 CO PORTS.A B-PROC WILL SUPPORT 2 CABINETS.
VM ADMINISTRATION CAN BE DONE AT VM999 GET SOME MANUALS THOUGH.
SWITCH PROGRAMMING CAN BE DONE ON PORT OO5
USE 20 BUT LCD SET. VM PROGRAMMING THRU VM BOX 999. IF EVERYTHING IS DEFAULTED IN THE SWITCH YOU WILL NEED TO PUT IN THE FOLLOW-ME
DIGITS AND THE CALL FORWARDING.
GOOD LUCK

You have a DK card the easy non tech way to find how many ports you have is for example if your VM x is 500. 500 is your dist hunt group probably , dial 501, 502, 503, 504 if vm answers there is 4 ports try 505-508 and if they answer there is your 8 ports. This does assume a couple of things. Hope this helps.

what does the display at ext 206 say about call forwarding cf-bn to ?
you can have up to 80 station
and 48 co lines but not at the same time
as you add co lines subtract stations 8 at a time that is as simple as i can explain it on list
4 port stratagy is most common ripn's should work for you
use box 999 to administrate
hope this helps
p.s. tech's who work on these systems typically spend a month at a toshiba training center to learn these systems
quite often having your vendor out for fine tuning and training might be well worth the investment.
toshiba systems can be a little tricky sometimes to administrate next time you have your vendor out go over what administration you should be doing and what should be left to your vendor.
good luck martin
