I have a Toshida system with a PC based voice mail system, I have two ext. that the message light flashs and you push the button to retrieve your message it ring an ext and not the voicemail system. I tried canceling the message light by doing the #64 + XXX to clear light but it still flashes. ANy help would be appreciated.

cancel the msg lamp from the ext that it calls. Also on the pc vm use the ext that turns on msg. lamps and try the same.

if the extension is a long way off and no one
is in the room int # 409 will cancel light.

If you press the message button and it intercoms another station, you must lift the handset(of the called station)for the message to be cleared.
