I undetrstand that the DK Strata Series is being discontinued. We have several DK series out in the field and need to verify this information and find out what the support life cycle will be for this product line.

There's no need to worry, part's will be available for years to come. They work like the Auto manufacturers, start a new line then discontinue it. The secondary market will have plenty DKT stuff to take care of ya. Not sure what you mean by: support life cycle , if it's about support, there will always be some techs who can work on it, That's the good thing about phone systems, they don't change, the dkt programming will always be the same whether its the year 2000 or 2015.
I hope thats what you were asking. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

Toshiba has discontinued the line.New product is the CTX100, CTX 672.It is the buggest software i have ever seen them put out.Parts and support will always be available on the older stuff due to the strong product line in the past.

I second that.the new CTX products its not good every week or so they issue a new revision to fix the problems. But the old Dk it has its share of problems but at least was stable and there are alot in the market and alot of company and TEC.they knew it very well and will always support the products.

Thank you all for your comments. What I meant by life cycle support was how ling will Toshiba support the product. I used to work for Nortel and when a product was manufacture discontinued they usually set up a 10 year support model. Meaning their aftermarket group would have refurb available that long and Nortel would continue to support technicians in the field for that time. But there were many times people would call on say a StarTalk Mini or Startalk 4L and we couldn't help them get any replacement parts.
I have already notices the DK2020 phones prices have gone up.
