DNIS for a Hunt group ,you have to use program 71-0 ,71-1. 71-0 to assign a DNIS address with The DNIS no that you receiveing from the provider, and 71-1 to assign that address to ring to which group i.e.0900-0915.which is assigned in program *40 to add which port to the group. It should work fine I do that all the time. Good Luck.

I have gone over that 5 times and it will not ring the hunt group, I have to point the DNIS at the first VM port then use prg 33 to hunt to station to the next port in order to get it to ring it. if I point it to the 900 group which is H 850 it seems that the Toshiba does not give back the wink to let the network know it recieved the call, all I get is a fast busy when I call the DNIS number. Also with just the two vm ports in the hunt group it seems to send me to an extension that isn't even in the group when I dial 850. this has me perplexed!

When you call the HG internally 850 it goes to a different ext other than the VM ports,If so then maybe you have extra ext in the HG,try to reset that program *40 and do it again.but it should go the HG if you using DNIS in program 71-1 ,just make sure in that program they use 4 digits so it going to be 0900 for group 900. do you have any other DNIS number that are working ,or thats the only one you have a problem with.

DK280 3.0 RCTUB
I have retranslated this 8 times and still have these problems, It might be the dkadmin I'm using. It crashes a lot and may be inputting worng info when I save and upload. I am going to try and redo it using the 20 button set on port 005 instead, I hope it works. If I point the DNIS of 8000 to the DH group with the two vm ports in it I get a fast busy when I dial into it from an outside line. I also get the wrong extension when I dial the 850 DH internally. If the DKADMIN is to blame it might explain it all. when I set up the DNIS and DH it might be getting the wrong info from the DKADMIN causing these problems. I will spend Saturday redoing it from the phone.

Ken, I think you have a problem with DK admin s/w ,by theway what version is it. IF you have a problem internally then definitely you have wrong ext in the hunt group. What you doing is correct just try to do it from the phone.the latest S/w for DK admin is 4.33, you should use that.If you still have problem after doing the program from the phone I sugest performing program 00 for processor RAM test and Backup Ram test, and shut down the system after that, sometimes it clears alot of crazy problems.
Good Luck.
