I've recently had to become the phone expert for a small office where I support the computer network. It's a DK 424 and I can't seem to get the analog ports (RSTU2) to dial anything more than 7 digits, after dialing the a CO line (via 9). I've made sure the LCR Station assignments are the same as the digital ports that work fine. I have a programming manual.

What Program should I be looking to change?

TIA -Joe

Try program 48 and set one of the stations to 000.

first 0 is no digit restriction
sec and third are no station toll restriction.

Thanks Ken! I spent a good portion of yesterday reviewing the programming manual and had identified about 6 programs that might help. Prog 48 was going to be the first one I try [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

I will try it out tonight. Thanks again.

Finally got back to the office to test yesterday morning. Program 48 didn't work. I even set it to 003 (which was being used by the digital extensions that work fine) and still only 7 digits. I ended up removing toll restrictions directly from the CO lines and it worked.

I cycled through as many programs as I could find and compared the analog extensions to the digital ones and had them both set pretty much the same (except for digital line specific settings).

Very odd...

thanks for the help, though.

have you downloaded the programming documents from sam hassen's site yet?
it would make it much easier to help you if you had those. I'll go out to the truck in the morning and get a book. if you or one of the other guys havn,t figured it i'll crack the programming book.

What setting do you have in program 50-1, 50-2,55 and 56

Also check the program 31 setting for the SLT ports
