Hi all

One last question for tonight.

In the setup I have I want one person to answer the calls and to transfer the call to whomever it's for. Generally the whomever could be anywhere in the building.

One way is to put the caller on hold and do an All Call Voice Page (not good, too much noise pollution and not specific to a particular person although it would work in this enviroment). Would another way be to put a phDN on all neccessary handsets as a line button (labelled with that person's name) and ask the assistant to call the phDN. The called person would then be called by the assistant on that PhDN and have the call transferred to them when they pick up. Would this work or is there an alternative way that is better?

Thanks again for all the help I have received.

Rehan

Put a park button on the phones (39) and just park and then page the call. DK280 has 19 park zones.

Could be I have an older version of the software. In my docs I can't find a PARK code or even a HOLD code. All the phones already have a HOLD button (all DKT's). I also can't find where to set the park zones.

Whoops, mail set correctly now. Looks like I do have an older version of the software (v2 I guess). Program 39 does not accept code 464.

It does however accept 461 and 469 which I can't find listed in the R2 or R3 docs. Strange.

Oh well guess it's back to conference/transfers.

Thanks
Rehan
