Hello,
I need to install 4-5 lines for a customer who used to have an Executone system, now I find they have a Toshiba CTX-100
Can anyone give me some basic prog. info on how to set up outdial keys and set a trunk group, also ringing assignments?
Does the system need to be prog. from an ext. or can I use a laptop? what about password info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Rick

I suggest if you never worked on a CTX you get a technician....this is not a system for somebody who has never worked on a shiba....

I agree with groundstart. The CTX is not something you can just jump right into without ever working on one. But if you insist on doing it yourself, e-mail me once you got Winadmin installed on your laptop and can connect to the CTX.

Thanks Guys,
I am a tech, I have worked on systems for 20 years , this one came up because I used to service the customers Executone IDS , I am installing trunks for a LD provider and since
I thought the cust. still had the IDS system
I accepted the work, I work on Nortel,Iwatsu, Executone, ESI, TIE, and many others but have never seen any Toshiba systems, I hate to pass on the work, since
it was my mistake for accepting the work.
I would still appreciate any help.

Thanks
Rick

Well,
I was able to get the lines installed and working.
How do you guys like this switch?
seems nice, altough I did not care much for the piggy back cards, also the fact that you have to purchase a license for ports from Toshiba, Whats That?

Thanks
Rick

TOSHIBA wrote the book on Mother/Daughter boards.........

You are a true toshiba tech is you can name all the boards from the electronic series systems to the dk digital systems......
