Our receptionist uses a digital DKT2020-SD Toshiba phone console to answer incoming phones to the office. We have 3 general lines coming into the office that she has to handle.
At times she needs to go to other areas of the office (like the copy room) and she ends up running back and forth to answer the phone. We were looking at a CS50 cordless headset but it does not offer transfer and hold features.
It seems that the only other option is a cordless phone that works with the DKT2020-SD. Do you have any suggestions on cordless phones that will work with this model phone and will provide my secretary with full features while she is away from the console?
I think the Toshiba Digital cordless attached to her phone would be your best (although not cheapest) solution. She could answer all the lines and transfer to wherever.
She could also use an analog cordless phone and do the same thing (if there is an analog port near her desk) Although the operation would be a little more "clumsey"
