If the problem does occur 98% of the time, I would suggest tying a single line set to one of the lines ahead of the system. Make a few calls and see if they drop out on ya, if they do not, start looking at your equipment, if they do drop out you can feel confident pointing the finger(You decide which one ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/smile.gif) ) at your provider. We've had to do that on a few occasions to get us out of the middle of a few of those it's not "our problem" situations. [This message has been edited by JOHNYREB (edited June 29, 2004).]

First, thanks for all the info.
Problem solved. I had 3 things fighting me. Lot F6 was the phones I was having the most trouble with. Toshiba has a recall. Verizon (Telco) was not looking at all the numbers, they corrected their database and the disconnect tone is now being sent. It went from 31 seconds to 4 seconds. The last thing against me was the Verizon database. Apparently someone would make a change and when they looked at it later it would get changed back. All looks good now. Thanks again, Dan

Originally posted by paul144: "Hookswitch" drops tend to happen most frequently when calls are either placed on hold or transferred. ] On any other system but Toshiba DK phones are another animal. I have replaced so many that for the small price you charge its a bargin to have you do it and the clean up. [This message has been edited by SSPhone (edited June 30, 2004).]

I would love to complain about the Toshiba DKT hookswitches, but they sure get us an awful lot of business ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/smile.gif) . [This message has been edited by paul144 (edited July 01, 2004).]
