Wow, I need to make myself more clear. If someone leaves a message in say mailbox 300, I have it set to notify with a token string like this:
9,W(4,T)%V,,W(3,V),P(U)P(M)-R(G7,%S0,50)F-yyy-W(2,V)*%U#%S0#-
the only problem is when the system tries to dial an outside line using 9, it doesnt work, it just gets reset and tries again.
My problem is the system wont pickup an outside line and I am pretty sure this command is correct. All I do it put the persons cell phone number in the variable line and replace yyy with a port on the voicemail system

Use your butt set to monitor the line that it tries to go out on. For example, you can replace the 9 in the above token string with #7004, which will force the voicemail to use trunk line 4. With your butt set on line 4 monitor it to see how far it goes before it stops. Also make sure that the vm ports are not dial restricted in program 48 by verifying that their set for 100. And in program 31 turn off led 9 for all vm ports. But let me warn you that the cellphone notification on the StratagyDK doesn't work too well.

also be sure the dial 9 group in prog 15 is enabled. some istallations work great and leave the station number others call the cell and leave the cid. pagers seem to work predictably. m

WUZZZZZZZZZ UP You guys are the SHIZ-NIT! I got 2 more for ya ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/smile.gif) Whats a "voice mail pilot number" and Is there a "linear group" as opposed to a "distributed hunt group"? Where all phone ring at once for one bogus extension?

A linear hunt group always targets the first member in that group. A distributed hunt group distributes a call evenly among the group members. On the Toshiba DK, program 33 specifies a linear hunt group. Program *40 creates a disributed hunt group. If you created a DHG in *40, the default pilot number is 850 for that group. Use program *04 to change the DHG pilot extension. To ring a group of extensions at the same time, you will need to use a phantom extension and place it on each member's phone. When the phantom extension is called it rings on those phones that have it on a button. Use programs *33, 39, and *71-*73 for phantom extensions.
