The receptionist phone (x10 port 000) on this system has displayed "CF-A:710-450" for about one and a half weeks.

x450 is the voice mail system, but it should be (and used to be) via forward-no-answer instead of all-calls.

I have tried to clear this call-forward-all by doing the following:

a) icm #601 speaker.
b) icm #601 redial speaker.
c) CFA key, hang up.
d) CFA key, speaker.
e) CFA key, 10, hang up (or speaker).
f) CFA key, 010, hang up (or speaker).
g) CFA key, 710, hang up (or speaker).
f) Change fixed call forward in programming.
g) Clear fixed call forward in programming.
h) Cycling system power.

The display DOES respond to #601 and the CFA key with "Forward to:" As soon as I have enetered one of the above values or I have hung up, the original message returns.

I just want to cancel the call-forward-all. What boneheaded thing am I forgetting to do?

Thank you in advance.

With the handset on-hook......... try icm - #601 - spkr should cancel it. Then do icm - #603 - 450 - speeddial 16. That will set CF NA to 450 after 16 seconds. You can set the seconds to almost any 2-digit number that represents the number of seconds the phone will ring before going to VM.

Also, you have to ID the phone.

Int. #65691 [ext. no] redial spkr.
Int. #65792 [ext. no] redial spkr.

That should do it.

If the primary dn of that station is 10, then the display is showing a phantom extension as being call forwarded to voicemail. Before you cancel it, make sure it's not something you need. Many times the technician will use phantom extensions for specific call routing. Try calling extension 710 and listen to what mailbox answers first before you cancel the call forwarding.

Thank you both for replying.

I did try Icm #601 Speaker while on-hook. The message remains!

Remember, this was a working fwd no answer until the all-call message suddenly appeared (probably something was dialed by the user). The vm system already sees the phone's id and that was working as well.

Phonemeister, no technician set this up. It just showed up one day, and all of her calls are going to vm. I definitely need to find out how to cancel it!

Have either of you ever ever seen something like this where an all-call-forward cannot be cancelled?

If you call extension 10 does it ring the phone or go straight to voicemail? How about extension 710? Does 710 go to a different mailbox?

When a phone dials x10, they initiate a handsfree intercom call.

When a phone dials 710, they get her vmail greeting immediately.

We want 710 to ring first and then go to vmail, which is what it used to do!

Fascar:

Thank you. That was the boneheaded thing I was doing wrong!

I kept using the intercom key instead of the 710 key.

Thanks to everyone for your responses. They are greatly appreciated!
